The episode ends with Lola making the family some pizza. The rest of the family does this weird shift from anger to kindness, it scared me. He tries to take the rap for them not making the deadline, but Lola comes out an explains why. Lincoln helps her with the problem even letting the time go past the deadline, showing his caring side and giving the episode a moment of sweetness. I could bring up that in previous episodes: she was able to read but, apparently, this episode needed something for the plot and there we go. When it comes to Lola they find out that she didn't read a book That means because she didn't read the book, the family lost their spot (because sure that makes sense) Lincoln knows they have 2 hours left, tries to get Lola to read and he finds out that (spins a wheel) she can't read. The librarian quizzes them to prove they read the books. The final day, the Louds have read a total of 260 books beating the next family who under them who did 23. It's nice touch to see how Lincoln helps Lola find a book by using her interests. (Hey, we need to fill that eleven minutes up!) The episode actually figures this out that the were trying to get Lola to read things they like, when they could be finding books about things she likes because they didn't think of that in the first place. They do the thing where the pitch books that they would like because this show really wants to you know how these character's personalities work even by now. (Havin' fun isn't hard when you got a library card.) (Licy stole my idea, kind of) The family instead decides to show her that books can be fun.

(They could pretend there is no Lola, like how there's no Lisa because she's pretending to be a very short stereotype of a Texan, and they could do that, but you know, plot reasons.) The rest of the family worries that Lola will ruin their chances of free pizza night. Now everyone in the family needs to read books to qualify (wait the baby?) and Lola reallly doesn't seem to be interested. This is a good hint of what they are setting up. (arrested for Library crimes) If you pay attention to Lola in the early part of the episode, you'll notice that she is not very happy at all. there's also a running gag of Lisa hiding her identity because she has unpaid library fines. (even kill probably) So they go the library, and we get to set up that Lola might not like the idea.

The main plot of the episode is that the Louds as a family are in a contest to read as many books as possible to win a contest from a placed called "Spunk E Pigeons " because they'll do anything for free pizza. The episode's title sounds like Rita Loud but it's nothing about her, so that's a missed opportunity.
